CareSource has announced important changes that will affect members in Indiana and Georgia starting in 2027. As part of their ongoing review of their plans and markets, the company has decided to exit the ACA Marketplace in Indiana and discontinue their Dual Eligible Special Needs Plan (D‑SNP) in Georgia.

CareSource explained that these decisions were made after evaluating how well each product aligns with their mission to provide access, quality, and compassionate care. Even though these changes are significant, members will continue receiving their full benefits through December 31, 2026.

People can still enroll in these plans throughout the 2026 calendar year. Then, during the fall Open Enrollment Period, affected members will have the opportunity to choose a new plan for 2027 so their coverage continues without interruption.

CareSource will send official notifications to all impacted members at a later date. For now, the goal is to make this transition as smooth as possible and minimize any confusion or disruption for the people who rely on these plans.
